Mikey finally finishes playing with his Christmas presents (who knew an Easy Bake oven could be so much fun… and nutritious too…Mikey) and gets working on the 2007 Seminar list

New Torchworking Room Now Up!

Interested in using our new torch room (at only $9.99/hr. if you use Bullesye)? It's up and available and already being steadily booked (too cheap). Includes Nortel torches, oxygen generators (not always free on Monday mornings as staff try to use them to clear their heads...Mikey), assorted hand tools and annealing kilns. All the details here.

We Introduce Coneart to You, We Lose Coneart to Them

We were excited when we were approached by the owner of Coneart to carry their kilns. We'll work with you the owner said. Wow, we'll work with you too we said. Didn't last long though (not of our doing).
Our (last, apparently) order of kilns arrives today from Coneart. Seems we won’t be able to buy these kilns from them any longer and if we choose to continue to carry them, they must now be sourced from our sole Canadian stained glass supplier. The same kiln will now be available at an average 20-40% higher cost as we are not allowed to buy from a supplier who was only glad to sell to us just last week.

Our Continuing Canadian Supplier Problem Part 35

(See Figitorial dated Nov. 1, 2006) out-of-stocks include FS8306-37 castings, Taurus Accessory Kits, 1¾” x 3” diamond bevels (we could have taken another 300 boxes), NLB#’s 100-200-300 brass filigree, Weller SPG80 iron tips and Aanraku gold bails. Our Rat Paks however did arrive, as did our Spectrum fusible clears.
