Vacation Shutdown

Sometimes even the lowly store owner needs a reprieve. We are now closed for vacation only to reopen, once again refreshed and rejuvenated on September 6.
Rumours of Mikey's respite including a weissbier on top of some European mountaintop are possibly true. Take care, and see you in a couple of weeks!

Pot Melt Tutorial

We've carried well over 800 molds  for slumping, from Slumpy. Not only because they are great quality and good value, but because they offer great support. This last shipment includes a bunch of pot melt molds  and we post a tutorial on how to do pot melts, from Slumpy here for your consideration.

Sometimes We Need To Be Reminded

Kilns are fairly safe tools we use in our craft.
Sometimes we forget that they also need to be dealt with carefully.
Unlike Mikey did the other day...

Uroboros Crates For Some Kids

We've got some nice and clean Uroboros crates available for a menial $15 donation. They measure 36" x 30" x 5".
Great for glass storage and two make a great base for a work table.
First come first serve.

Uroboros Ends

They're in and they're spectacular!

More Big News! Again!

F.I.G. is the largest stained glass and fusing retail supplier in Canada.
We also offer wholesale discounts to other qualified businesses.
This wholesale part of our business is about to change.
A bit. Maybe a lot. We're not sure.
But we're working on it.
Curious?
Then starting today, go here...
(Note: If you're having trouble viewing, do a page refresh and all should be fine... if still a problem, stop drinking and go to bed)

New From Spectrum Glass

It's been a long time since we've seen anything new from Spectrum. Whether it's a function of J.M. retiring, or a slowdown in inspiration at Spectrum or lack of demand in the industry, we can only speculate. In any case, it sure ain't like to old days!
But getting anything new these days warrants our attention, hope and praise. So, just in the door is a new System 96 Grayish-Green opalescent glass that Spectrum's copywriter claims, was inspired by the elegant Asian Celadon pottery of centuries past. Mikey's copywriter says, yippee, a new colour, which is sort of okay, but misses the mark on colours we really could use, but we'll take it.
