We talked about this glass earlier in Mikey's blog and how it reacts under heat; namely, that the centre lightens considerably while the outer edge remains its original colour, creating stunning effects in pieces built
on-edge, or stacked.
In addition to this cool 'sandwich' effect, Vanilla Cream is also highly reactive when fused next to Copper-bearing glasses.
So what does Mikey do?
He tests it out by cutting up a bunch of strips in both the Vanilla Cream and a high copper blue and does a fuse and slump to see how this glass strikes and reacts. Here's the result-
