So, Tuesday July 1 is Canada's birthday, and Mikey has to bake a cake, get sparklers, buy buttermilk, etc. To make sure it all gets done, he's giving everyone Monday June 30 off as well (so he can sit at home drinking Amsterdam Brewery's new Raspberry Wheat beer while The Missus does the baking, etc).
