Diary of a Demented Store Owner

This stained glass window was apparently a favourite of Tiffany himself, because he hung it in his studio and refused to sell it (remember those Goodyear muffler calendars weren't out yet due to mufflers not having been invented in the early 1900's).
After his death, F. G. James of Cleveland, Ohio, acquired the window and donated it to The Field Museum. In 1941, it was installed into the Gem Hall (Chicago), where it has been on display ever since.

This is quite an amazing masterpiece and is really like a huge painting in glass!
fieldmuseum.org has a description of it but no further specs or images:
A very large and colorful Tiffany stained glass window has graced the Hall of Gems for years. The renovated exhibition showcases this masterpiece with state-of-the-art lighting so visitors can better experience the window’s beauty.
Thanks for starting this series on Tiffany's work!
