Everything Is Going Green!

Because glass contains oxides and is made from incredibly varying formulae, it is almost unrecyclable. While small pieces can be useful (heck, we sell all our scrap and donate the proceeds to charity) there is a certain amount that has little use. But if you check out this link, you might find more use for your scraps.

Great set of examples, though I believe some of them aren't glass (like the door of pantone film slides), but still great ideas.

Excellent ideas, but I like the refund I get back for my bottles (too many to count), and the warmth from the sweet nectar found within.

But it is an excellent article in that plain glass is not recyclable in many cases. I have some glass I need to bring over to you as the shards are starting to build up, and I can't keep grinding it in to the kids oatmeal.

how cool! Now I can put all my antique glass wear to better use! Wonderful. Thanks, you people of FIG are always thinking about us, your customers.
