Continuing with Tiffany

Jonquil Fire Screen, c. 1890

Tiffany's  (and Mikey's) love of nature (although Tiffany wore clothes) and painterly approach to stained glass is evident in this fire screen. Much of his secular work included decorative panels and objects for the interior.

I'm just sitting here pondering the image. Why would you make 3 panels that are almost identical... there differences if you stare at it for a minute (aside from the sky section). Sure the glass isn't the same, sometimes there's green where there was white in the previous panel, but the lines are slightly different between each one.

I think it's slightly annoying me that they are so similar.
